Ingredients:
- 8 bread slices (any of your choice)
- 8 tbsp pizza sauce
- 4 cherry tomatoes - thinly sliced (regular tomatoes can also be used)
- 1 small capsicum - finely diced
- 1 small onion - finely diced
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp fresh basil - chopped (dried can also be used)
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese - grated
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp red chili flakes (optional)
Method:
- Take one bread slice and apply 1 tbsp pizza sauce on it.
- Put the cherry tomatoes, capsicum and onions on the slice.
- Sprinkle oregano, basil and red chili flakes (optional).
- Take another bread and spread the pizza sauce on it and place it on top of the veggie loaded bread.
- Apply butter on both side and place the sandwich in griller / sandwich maker.
- When roasted on both the sides, cut in half and serve.
