Ingredients:
- 2 cups crumbled paneer/cottage cheese
- 1 onion large - chopped
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste/grated
- 1 capsicum small - chopped
- 1 tomato large - chopped
- 1 green chili - finely chopped
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 3/4 tsp kashmiri red chili powder
- 3/4 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp kasuri methi crushed
- 1 tbsp fresh coriander chopped
- 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
- Salt as per taste
Method:
- Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and add 1 tsp cumin seeds and let them splutter.
- Add chopped onion and saute on medium flame till the color of onion changes or becomes transparent.
- Now add 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste or grated ginger-garlic along with green chili.
- Saute till the raw aroma fades.
- Add chopped capsicum and mix well.
- Cover the pan for 2 minutes or till the capsicum becomes tender (not mushy).
- Now, add the chopped tomatoes and saute till tomatoes turn soft .
- Now add the 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 3/4 tsp kashmiri red chili powder, 1 tsp coriander powder and salt to taste.
- Saute for a minute and add crumbled paneer and mix everything well.
- Cover the pan for 3-4 minutes on low flame.
- Now, add 1 tsp crushed kasuri methi and 1 tbsp tomato ketchup.
- Mix it well.
- Garnish with chopped fresh coriander leaves.
