Ingredients:
- 2 cups idli/dosa batter
- 1 bowl Sambhar
- 1 medium onion finely chopped
- 1/2 medium capsicum finely chopped
- 1 small tomato finely chopped
- 1 Green chili finely chopped
- 2 tbsp coriander finely chopped
Method:
- Heat a dosa tava/pan and apply little oil/butter on it and spread using halved onion. This gives a nice flavour to the uttapam.
- Now using a ladle pour the uttapam batter and spread it keeping in mind that it should be thick as compared to a dosa.
- Now take all the veggies little by little and sprinkle on the uttapam batter.
- Press gently with the spatula.
- Drizzle oil/butter around the edges and cover the pan for 2-3 minutes.
- Gently flip the uttapam using a spatula.
- Let the veggies cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Transfer to a serving plate.
