Veg Cheese Bread Cones

Ingredients:

  • 8 slices of bread
  • 1/2 cup chopped Capsicum
  • 1/2 cup chopped Onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped Carrot
  • 1/2 cup Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Sweet Corn
  • 2 tbsp Mint chutney
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1/4 cup melted Butter
  • 2 tsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp Chilli Flake

Method:

  • Take a large bowl and add capsicum, onion, sweetcorn, carrot, cheese, mint chutney, salt, oregano and chilli flakes.
  • Mix it well.
  • Now take bread slice and cut the side crust.
  • Flatten the bread using a rolling pin.
  • Apply water on the sides and fold it to make it a cone shape.(refer video for more clarity)
  • Fill the cones with the veggie mixture.Make sure you do not overfill them otherwise the cones will open up during baking when the cheese melts.
  • Now take melted butter and add oregano to it and mix.
  • Place the ready cones on a baking sheet and apply the butter on them.
  • Bake the cones at 180 C for 8-10 minutes.
  • Veg Cheese Bread Cones taste good with coriander mint chutney, tomato ketchup or you can have it with the dip of your choice.
