Ingredients:

  • 3 Cups puffed rice/murmura
  • 1/2 medium size Onion - finely chopped
  • 1 small tomato chopped (without seeds)
  • 1/2 potato medium, boiled and cubed
  • 4-5 papdi crushed
  • 1 tsp chat masala
  • 1/2 tsp Roasted cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 3/4 tsp lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp sev
  • 3 tbsp green chutney
  • 4 tbsp tamarind chutney

Method:

  • Dry roast the puffed rice for making them Crispy
  • Now take a large bowl and add onions, tomatoes, crushed papdi, boiled potatoes and mix.
  • Add the roasted cumin powder, chat masala, kashmiri red chili powder and salt and mix till all combines.
  • Now, add the green chutney, tamarind chutney and lemon juice.
  • Mix and make sure the puffed rive does not get soggy.
  • Add the sev and garnish the bhel with more crushed papdi, onions and chopped coriander.
