Rose Sandesh - रोज़ संदेश

Ingredients:

  • 1 liter full cream milk
  • 1/3 cup Powdered sugar (50 grams)
  • 1/4 tsp Rose essence
  • Few drops of Pink food color
  • 2 tbsp vinegar + 2tbsp water

Method:

  • Take 1 liter full cream milk in a heavy bottomed pan and bring it to boil.
  • Add vinegar and water solution in batches till the milk curdles.
  • Seive the Chenna using a strainer with cloth over it.
  • Squeeze and hang it for 20 minutes.
  • Now, take the Chenna and knead it for 10 minutes using heel of your palm to form a smooth dough.
  • Add the powdered sugar and combine well.
  • Cook this mixture in low flame for 5-6 minutes.
  • Now, add the rose essence and pink gel food colour and combine well.
  • Let the mixture cool down for 5 minutes.
  • Make small balls rolling in between your palms.
  • Now make a small dent and press some chopped pistachios on it.
  • Your delicious Rose Sandesh is ready to be enjoyed.
