Cheesy Paneer Hot Dog

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup crumbled Paneer
  • 1/2 cup onion medium chopped
  • 1/2 cup mixed capsicum chopped
  • 3/4 cup tomato large chopped
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/8 tsp asafoetida
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp kashmiri red chilipowder
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp kasuri methi
  • Tomato ketchup as required
  • Mozzarella cheese as required
  • Milk for milk wash

Method:

  • Heat a pan and add oil to it.
  • Add cumin seeds and asafoetida and let the cumin splutter.
  • Add the chopped onion and capsicum and saute.
  • Close the lid for 2-3 minutes on low medium flame.
  • Open the lid and add the tomatoes, dry masalas.
  • Saute till tomatoes turn mushy.
  • Now add the crumbled paneer and mix well.
  • Add garam masala and chopped coriander.
  • Assembling
  • Take a hot dog and cut a rectangular shape using knife(refer video)
  • Apply tomato ketchup in the cavity.
  • Fill the prepared paneer bhurji in the rectangular cavity.Top up with cheese and chili flakes.
  • Bake in a preheated oven @180 C for 10 minutes or until the cheese melts.


Notes:

  • You can choose the vegetables of your choice.
  • The spice content can be altered as per the taste.
