Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Cup Cocoa Powder (50 grams)
  • 3/4 Cup Powdered Sugar (100 grams)
  • 1 tsp All Purpose Flour
  • 1.5 Cup Milk (360 ml)
  • 1 tbsp Salted Butter
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence

Method:

  • Take a pan and place a sieve over it.
  • Sift the cocoa powder, sugar and all purpose flour (maida) to avoid any lumps.
  • Mix it and add the room temperature milk to it.
  • With the help of a whisk mix well so there are no lumps.
  • Place the pan on low to medium heat and stir continuously to bring the mixture to boil.
  • Once boiled add the butter and stir again.
  • Bring the mixture to the consistency till it thickens.
  • You can check by dipping a spoon in the mixture. If the chocolate solution makes a thick coat over the spoon your chocolate sauce is ready. Otherwise keep stirring till it thickens.
  • Once thick enough switch off the flame and add Vanilla essence.
  • Mix well and let the mixture cool stirring at intervals. This will give a smooth texture after cooling.
  • Cool completely and enjoy your homemade chocolate sauce.
