Ingredients:
- For Manchurian balls
- 1/2 medium size grated Cabbage
- 1 medium size grated Carrot
- 50 grams finely chopped Beans
- 1 medium size finely chopped Onion
- 1/2 cup green part Spring onion
- 1 small finely chopped Capsicum
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper
- Salt as per taste
- 1/2 cup Cornflour
- 3/4 cup All purpose flour
- 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1 tbsp Soya sauce
- 1 tbsp Butter
- For sauce
- 3 tbsp Oil
- 3-4 Spring onion bulbs
- 1/4 cup Spring onion greens
- 1/4 cup Capsicum chopped
- 2 tbsp Garlic chopped
- 1 tbsp Ginger chopped
- 1 Green chili chopped
- 1 tsp Sugar (optional)
- 2 tbsp Soya sauce
- 1 tbsp Chili sauce
- 1 tbsp Tomato ketchup
- 150 ml Water (for sauce)
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper
- Salt as per taste
- 2 tbsp Corn flour
- 6-7 tbsp Water (for making cornflour slurry)
Method:
- Making the Manchurian balls
- Mix all the ingredients mentioned above for Manchurian balls.
- Apply oil on hands and take the mixture and make lemon size balls.
- Fry them in medium hot oil.
- Make sure the oil is not too hot otherwise the balls will be brown from outside and uncooked from inside.
- Drain the Manchurian balls on kitchen towel/paper
- Making the sauce
- Heat oil in a.pan and add spring onion bulbs, greens, onions, ginger and garlic.Add capsicum and sugar. Saute on high flame stirring continuously.
- Now add the soya sauce, chili sauce,tomato ketchup and 100 ml water.
- Add salt and black pepper
- Now take corn flour in a bowl and add water to it making a limp free mixture.
- Add it to the sauce and stir continuously.
- The sauce will start to thicken as you stir.
- Now add the fried Manchurian balls and mix gently.
- Serve hot gravy Manchurian with fried rice.
