Ingredients:
- 1 Cup Desiccated Coconut (100 grams)
- 5 tbsp Sweetened Condensed Milk (100 grams)
- 1/2 Cup Chocolate chips (100 grams)
Method:
- Take a mixing bowl and add desiccated coconut to it.
- Now, add sweetened condensed milk and mix well.
- Check the consistency by pressing between fingers. It should bind well.
- Grease a container and place parchment paper in it.
- Spread the coconut mixture and set it to form a slab.
- Place in the refrigerator for and hour.
- Meanwhile, prepare the chocolate mixture by placing a heat proof bowl over a pan with boiling water.
- Put the chocolate and let it sit foe a minute.
- Stir gently till the chocolate melts completely.
- Once cooled cut the coconut slab in equal pieces.
- Dip the coconut pieces on by one in melted chocolate and coat them well.
- Lift with the help of fork and place on a plate with parchment paper.
- Let the chocolate set on the coconut bars and enjoy the home made Bounty bars.
