Grilled Pizza Sandwich

Ingredients:

  • 8 bread slices (any of your choice)
  • 8 tbsp pizza sauce
  • 4 cherry tomatoes - thinly sliced (regular tomatoes can also be used)
  • 1 small capsicum - finely diced
  • 1 small onion - finely diced
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp fresh basil - chopped (dried can also be used)
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese - grated
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp red chili flakes (optional)

Method:

  • Take one bread slice and apply 1 tbsp pizza sauce on it.
  • Put the cherry tomatoes, capsicum and onions on the slice.
  • Sprinkle oregano, basil and red chili flakes (optional).
  • Take another bread and spread the pizza sauce on it and place it on top of the veggie loaded bread.
  • Apply butter on both side and place the sandwich in griller / sandwich maker.
  • When roasted on both the sides, cut in half and serve.
