Sabudana Kheer

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup sabudana
  • 1 liter full fat milk
  • 1/2 tsp cardmom powder
  • 1 tbsp almonds chopped
  • 1/2 tbsp pistachios chopped
  • 1/2 tnsp cashews chopped
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • Few saffron strands

Method:

  • Soak the sabudana in 3/4 cup water for 1 hour.
  • Meanwhile heat milk in a deep non stick pan and bring it to boil.
  • Add the soaked sabudana and boil further for 15-20 minutes stirring in intervals.
  • Make sure the sabudana do not stick to the pan
  • Add the saffron strands and sugar and stir well.
  • Now add the chopped dry fruits and cook for another 5 minutes.
  • Sabudana Kheer is ready to be served.
  • It tastes best when served after refrigeration
  • Garnish with more chopped nuts.
