Ingredients:
- 1 liter full cream milk
- 1/3 cup Powdered sugar (50 grams)
- 1/4 tsp Rose essence
- Few drops of Pink food color
- 2 tbsp vinegar + 2tbsp water
Method:
- Take 1 liter full cream milk in a heavy bottomed pan and bring it to boil.
- Add vinegar and water solution in batches till the milk curdles.
- Seive the Chenna using a strainer with cloth over it.
- Squeeze and hang it for 20 minutes.
- Now, take the Chenna and knead it for 10 minutes using heel of your palm to form a smooth dough.
- Add the powdered sugar and combine well.
- Cook this mixture in low flame for 5-6 minutes.
- Now, add the rose essence and pink gel food colour and combine well.
- Let the mixture cool down for 5 minutes.
- Make small balls rolling in between your palms.
- Now make a small dent and press some chopped pistachios on it.
- Your delicious Rose Sandesh is ready to be enjoyed.
