Ingredients:
- 2 cups (100 grams) All Purpose Flour
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 cup yogurt (curd)
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- Salt as per taste
- Ingredients for filling
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp garlic grated
- 1/2 cup PANEER small cubes
- 1/4 cup sweet corn
- 1/2 cup onion chopped
- 1/4 cup Capsicum chopped
- 3 tbsp PIZZA Sauce
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- Salt as per taste
- 3-4 tbsp milk and sugar solution for milk wash
Method:
- Take a alarmed bowl and add the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, sugar, garlic powder and mix well with spoon.
- Now add the yogurt add make a semi stiff dough.
- Apply oil and cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 15 minutes .
- Method for filling
- Heat a pan and add oil.Add the grated garlic and saute.Add the onions, Capsicum and sweet corn.Add salt and red chili powder and saute.
- Now add the pizza sauce and mix well.
- Lastly add the paneer cubes and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Assembling
- Take the dough and divide into 8 equal parts.
- Take 1 part and roll it using a rolling pin like roti.
- Fold from sides and down to form triangle. (Refer to the video)
- Place the filling in between and pick up each corner of the triangle and bring them together to form a parcel. (refer to the video)
- Baking
- Take 6 of the made parcels and place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Take the milk and sugar solution and brush the parcels with it.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180 C for 20 minutes pr till you see them turning brown.
- For pan method
- Cover and preheat a pan for 10 minutes on gas.
- Grease a steel plate and place 2 parcels on it.Brush with milk and sugar solution.
- Place a trivet in the preheated pan and put the parcel plate on it.
- Cover and bake for 30 minutes keeping the flame low to medium.
- Check after 20 minutes to see whether done or not.
- Once baked brush the parcels with butter and cover them for another 10 minutes and then serve with your favorite dip.
